Future Ministries
Future Ministries have been identified by the Church of the Risen Lord that will enhance its members, visitors and community.
Healthcare Ministry
The Healthcare Ministry will be responsible for screening blood pressure, blood glucose monitoring and providing general health information. Healthcare Ministry members will impart
spiritual and practical wisdom in promoting the development and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. This ministry will value and understand that our bodies are the temple of
the Holy Spirit and should be properly nurtured for God’s maximum use to build the Kingdom of God and carry out this vision through their efforts.
Men's Ministry
The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to establish men in their God-ordained role as leaders in their homes, church, businesses, and in the community. The objective
of the Men’s Ministry is to provide enrichment and mentoring for the growth and development of men spiritually, mentally, physically and economically.
Nursery/Toddler Ministry
The Nursery Ministry will serve children ages 6 months to 4 years old. The children will be taught basic curriculum which will include learning to pray, bible stories,
songs, as well as educational learning such as learning the alphabet, numbers and colors.
Transitional House
The objective of the Transitional House will be to redirect and train individuals in the development process of becoming productive members of the community.
The Transitional House mission will be to alter the direction of troubled men and women within the local and surrounding community. Church of the Risen Lord will establish
a partnership with the local government that provides mentoring, guidance and rehabilitation to presently and previously incarcerated individuals to develop them into
responsible, accountable and successful men and women. The Transitional House will be an in-house program, providing inexpensive shelter, long-term counseling, basic
job training, educational opportunities as well as sports and other activities.
